Nope, I'm not really sure.Do you know how much of it is because they are at home playing some of the better teams when they have back to backs? Seems like they have gotten more teams on back to backs this year but I cant say for sure.
With stuff like that, I feel like it all usually kind of evens out in the end.
I imagine every team around the league benefits from those kinds of scenarios at times. I remember just a couple weeks ago the Kings played Dallas in Dallas on a Friday night then had to play St Louis in St Louis on Saturday night - and that's a b2b scenario that requires plane travel in between games. At least when teams play Anaheim and LA they don't really need to travel in between games.
I'm sure there's been times the Kings have benefitted from teams playing Anaheim the night before but there's also been times when a team like Dallas or St Louis is catching a team on the tail end of a back to back where the team had to take a flight the day of or night before. Ultimately by the time all the dust settles, everyone gets screwed over by the schedule sometimes and benefits from it at others.
