While byfield has been disappointing, if he puts up 40-50 pts as center it is a win in my book

His production will go up. These last 3 games hes been getting better and will be back on track.
The streaky play is a bit concerning though.
Kings cant afford this from Byfield when Kopitar retires as there is no one else in the pipeline and a steady 1c is a necessity.

Kings have only given up 1 goal in the last two games.

This is an excellent road win.

I'll be more worried about that when he's in that actual role rather than 2C/3C.

Right now he's getting 2nd unit PP time and 2nd unit PK time and at least for the latter him and Foegele are arguably the best in the league at it thus far.

not to excuse the production, but I think it'll come, and he's now back on track and doing literally everything else well. And it seemed like he started feeling himself again after tonight's goal.
