Turcotte only has one speed. Little to no deception to his game. Most players go in one on three and dump the puck in, but Turcotte carries it right along the boards, setting himself up for the hit. Just not a smart player.

It's tough though, because he needs to be a high motor/high energy kind of player to be his most effective, which he has been so far this season. He's not a defensive stopper or a skilled player, and he doesn't have a ton of size.

But yeah, I've never seen a player just get lit up as much as he does.

Byfields confidence being so fragile is really concerning. Rarely do players ever grow out of being mental midgets

I don't get why Hiller broke up the Foegele, Turcotte, Laf line just to get Byfield to play center in that. It worked so well too
