From what Charlie was saying yesterday, it's possible they just want to make sure Ersson is fully healthy and avoid Fedotov *possibly* getting claimed and being left with Peterson as the next man up. I think Makiniemi is injured?

Losing Fedotov on waivers would be a blessing. Any time you increase the odds of Cal playing for the Flyers, you also increase the odds of picking in the top 5.

Just because Buffalo's situation is the worst in the league is no reason for the Flyers' triumvirate to gloat.
Things were bad here under Fletcher but since Tortorella showed up they have been rapidly deteriorating. What we've been seeing lately is the poorest hockey being played in town for decades. You could see last night that Tortorella had no clue as to what to do during that game in order to stabilize things much less turn them around. He's a joke behind the bench. He offers nothing positive to the club. Get him out of here before he screws up some more players with his goofy head games. He should be leaving town not Emil Andrae.

That’s why I said from further up. Knowing torts is going to jack things up, that briere is not going to make any moves. Let them spout the stuff they are knowing it’s going to go how it’s going and not trying to pressure to right the ship. Using the idiocy to their advance.

Zamula is out of options and would be claimed on waivers.
So right now they'd want to play him over Andrae, especially if Andrae is struggling.
Like a number of players, they have to decide if he's in their future plans.

Both Ersson and Kolosov flash promise, but they're failing to make one save a game that a veteran goalie would make. And that's why the Flyers have the worst goaltending in the NHL.

At some point they have to decide what to do with Fedotov, and make some trades.
But there is no reason for Briere to rush, the draft isn't until June and he's not looking to make trades to get this team into the playoffs.

The utter incompetence, year after year, is breathtaking. This team is light years away from challenging for a Cup. At this point, every player on the roster save for Michkov and maybe Foerster & York should be available for the right return.

I hope they continue to miss the playoffs for 4 or 5 more years, it’s the only way that ownership might realize that a complete and total purge of the hockey ops dept is a necessity.

He might be salvageable, he’s relatively young, has played well in the past and they are woefully thin on D. But yeah, in the right deal, he’s far from untouchable.

I would like to see him play for someone other than Torts.

Well I don't know why Torts would want Fedotov on the 23 man roster. He won't play him and clearly doesn't trust him. So the fact Fedotov hasn't been waived must be because of Briere, who may have made promises to Fedotov about not sending him to Allentown.
