This is more or less how I have them too.

I will say, if Nazar isn't ready to anchor the second line yet, and needs AHL time or to be further down, we are actually going to be thin at center with only Dickinson as an option.

Which would lead really nice into a possible Shane Pinto acquisition...

Martinez will steady thec3rd pairing and mentor the young D partners on thatc3rd pairing...so thatvhelps..till they trade Martinez at the TDL flip.


As to 2ndvoairibg...we alk expect some improvement from KK..butvagain hevis partnered with Barfy and that means any imprivenent ink is automatically limited...

All in all the D is Still not going to be good this season.....maybe 7 more wins max.

Worse..if that 2nd pairing is as bad or worse than they were last season..

Hawks could use another center. Wouldn't mind them making a deal with Nashville for Cody Glass. Take a flier on a former top prospect who could probably be had for cheap.

I am pretty happy with what the Hawks did today, they improved in a couple areas of the team and none of the contracts given out scare me becoming a problem for the Hawks down the road.
