Not sure why they had Makar Khanin listed as the spare forward in today's VHL game, he ended up playing 6:37, just seems odd since he was one of their top scorers last year. I could see if this had been his KHL club which plays tomorrow

Maybe they're resting him in anticipation of him playing for the KHL club tomorrow?

Khanin not in the line-up for Dinamo St. Petersburg in the VHL. Not sure if he's a healthy scratch or injured. He only played the first game of the season and was used as an extra forward and was the least used player. So chances are he's more a healthy scratch than hurt.

The MHL team (MHK Dimano St. Petersburg) is playing @ 11:30AM ET. So we'll see if they opted to send him down there. Unless of course, he's not eligible to go down because he has a two-way contract, meaning he can only play in KHL or VHL.

Kostenko with a goal. Khimik is down 3-2 in the 2nd period. Sobolev isn't in the line-up. Maybe injured. He did play preseason games. He isn't in the KHL either because Spartak Moskva are playing now and he's not in the line-up there either.

Prospects in action today (Sept. 10th):

- Koivu @ 11:30AM ET

Dynamo Moscow plays @ 11AM ET (Khanin's KHL team). It will be left to see if Khanin is in the line-up. He only played 1 VHL game and was the least used player. No news on if he's still with the VHL team as a healthy scratch or injured, or if he's called up to the KHL.
