I just noticed Clattenburg missed two games this weekend. He left the Firebirds's Wednesday game and didn't return. A regular in the Flint Firebird thread said he hoped he was just winded, but obviously it was more.
Looks like Clattenburg is still out.

I know a lot of people have written him off based on lack of production playing for a poor program but I still fully believe there’s a player here. Really hope they can get him on an ELC and down to Bakersfield once the college season ends this year.
I think he is a lesser player than Kemp was at the same stage and Kemp is no where close to an NHL player either. He is a long shot.
Also I remember him playing quite poorly in international play too.

Is our ECHL team as shallow on talent as our AHL team? If so that's not great but not horrible.
Most of our aHL guys should be on our ECHL team, so yeah.

You remember wrong as he always showed very well at the u20 level for Germany.

We've discussed before and share some similar hope for the player. Vermont has been a disaster program which hasn't helped Munzenberger's development. However he has shown progress in his goal differential while playing a shutdown role against top opposition in likely the best college league in the States. I have him like 12 or 13 in the weak Oilers prospect pipeline.

Size, physical game and solid skating ability is a good foundation. I think there's a fringe NHL end of roster potential though I think you see higher.

Sam O'Reilly had a SHG to open the scoring and an assist.

William Nicholl had a secondary assist, can't find video of it, seems like it was a touch on the breakout.

---

Nathan Day posted a 37-save shutout for Flint.

---

Dalyn Wakely had this assist. No points for Akey.

---

Matt Copponi had this assist, a nice outlet pass from his own zone. No points for Lachance.
