Gotta figure something is cooking. Feel like we would have heard if there was a break down.

All the strides made during the off-season will be completely snuffed if Vladdy isn't signed by tomorrow. Their #1 priority this offseason was to get him signed long-term, and it'll be a complete stain if they don't.

Whether Vladdy is asking for the moon and/or prefers at this point to perhaps move on -- that's moot. If they knew there was any indication he wouldn't sign here no matter the deal, he should have been dealt by now.

I certainly hope our franchise player is signed to a nice decade-long plus deal by tomorrow.

At the end of the day, we don’t know the number ($$$) that will get the deal done. So how can we really judge? But this front office is so stubborn with their valuations. If they actually believed in Vladdy, the deal would get done a long time ago.
