I'm surprised Vogt was AL Manager of the Year. His job was too easy, to steady the ship after Francona retired. He had a stacked roster given to him. Cleveland was never seriously threatened for the AL Central and routinely wins the division.

Meanwhile the Tigers had a single digit chance of making the postseason midway throughout the regular season and got so hot they snuck into the ALDS and even won a wild card round. AJ Hinsch should have been AL Manager of the Year by a mile over any other candidate.
