I don't hate it. He could bounce between there and DH with Burleson or Baker platooning in. Herrera and Pages both kinda needed to be up full time. They're saying he won't play C at all next year but we'll see if that sticks if one of the other guys get hurt.

The biggest takeaway is that if the back of the jerseys are as shown with the Bibee jersey, meaning they are going back to the bigger fonts for the names and numbers on the back, then that is a huge win in and of itself.

The "Cleveland" font is better, but still bad.

I'm surprised Vogt was AL Manager of the Year. His job was too easy, to steady the ship after Francona retired. He had a stacked roster given to him. Cleveland was never seriously threatened for the AL Central and routinely wins the division.

Meanwhile the Tigers had a single digit chance of making the postseason midway throughout the regular season and got so hot they snuck into the ALDS and even won a wild card round. AJ Hinsch should have been AL Manager of the Year by a mile over any other candidate.
