I wouldn't say that

Agreed. My interpretation is that the doctor wants Zegras to do something that will probably cause him miss most if not all of this season. I would assume he's seeking other opinions to find out if there's another option that could get him back sooner. My guess is that regardless of what it ends up being, he's most likely not coming back soon.

Yeah this is where I'm at, he's on a bridge and already missed most of last season and is finally getting hot so of course he's going to want to play as much as possible. Team knows they aren't making the playoffs this year so are going to want to play it safe

Exactly. It must be immensely frustrating to feel like things are improving in your personal game and then you are taken out in this way.

What I imagine is happening:

Doctor: "Trevor, with a few weeks of rest you should be good to go back and suit up.

Zegras: "Please, isn't there any surgery we could do?"

Doctor: "It's just a light tear, surgery isn't warranted..."

Zegras begs the doctor as Cronin and PV poke their head in to check.

E4: Zegras day to day after undergoing a vasectomy.

Not surprised and also not surprised it took this long to get an update. First doc probably wanted to do surgery that would be season ending or at least a 2 month turn around. He most likely wants to see if there is a band aide approach that allows him to play and get surgery on April 17th if its needed.

Next year, when my open enrollment period comes up I'm signing up with "Internet MDs of HF". No need for appointments, no waiting in offices, no co pays, no x-rays, no MRIs. Just describe you symptoms in one post and sit back. You will be diagnosed within 48 hours by HFs best. ;)

This kinda hurts. I have no interest watching anymore, and it really does make me sad.

Is this how Buffalo fans feel? Make it go away.

Well that's a hell of a lot cheaper.
