Then and there
B/G indeed should have scored more, they hit the woodwork also. I liked Hauge (apart from one badly missed shot from good position). I liked him both in Milan and Frankfurt, was often a nice impact player to have coming from the bench as a sub. Didn't see much of him with Gent, but apparently wasn't good enough for tem to buy him and now he is on another loan in Norway.

League phase has started today.

Hauge having another good match, this time having already scored twice against Porto. His team Bodo/Glimt leads 3-1 even when they have a player sent off earlier.

In the other early match, AZ Alkmaar lead 3-2 against Elfsborg, the match has been quite a rollercoaster, with about 10 mins still left.

Then and there
Man Utd has named pretty a first choice line-up against Twente, where Ten Hag started and finished his playing career, playing over 200 matches for them in three spells.

Ten Hag said pre-match that he rather would have faced any other team than Twente, because the club is still close to his heart.

To think that there were rumors of him being on the outs this summer, yet he has now started in 4(?) consecutive games and played well.

Real scored a nice goal after a dumb pass by Nice but the ref is absolutely hosing Nice. Fortunately it hasn't been on crucial calls (pens or things like that).
But Nice's two yellow cards are direct Sociedad fouls. And somehow both were cards for Nice.

That's not nice.

United were ok in the first half, second was the same old shite. Bruno immune from being subbed apparently. Eriksen was right in saying Twente wanted it more.

I can't believe Sam Lammers (who I've seen suck badly at both Cremonese and Rangers) robbed you guys of a win

Not sure who should've taken his place though. I don't exactly have faith in Mount or Casemiro doing the same role. We saw last season the result when Bruno was injured for a while. United created absolutely feck all offensively. Coaching staff does need to have a talk with him about his giveaways though. Zirkzee, Amad had to be subbed due to rotation. Eriksen could've been subbed off earlier.

I wouldn't call it him robbing, when Eriksen gifted that goal to him. Their keeper did more "robbing".
