Sennecke is 6th in the OHL in points per game for all players with at least 10 games played. 10th in raw scoring with less games played than all players above him.

Point is he is producing. I guess it all becomes white noise after awhile.

Where Beckett can become special is if he embraces becoming an old school power forward with modern skill. Basically can he look at Matthew Tkachuk and say "I want to model my game after him" even if he doesn't still a high skill player I'm just wondering how the growth spurt effects him

I am a big fan of Beckett, but would be surprised if he ever had the edge Tkachuk has. Just hearing the two guys talk makes me skeptical that Beckett will be that guy, but I do think he could be more skilled

Burnevik has two goals in the second period tonight.

Burnevik is now 6+5 in 11 games, point per game as a freshman so far. I'll be honest, I'm not my really sure what to make of him.

Just wait and see? I remember being hyped up for Kukkonen when he was a goal scoring machine for a year... then it went away and still hasn't returned. Kukkonen is 5'10, though. Burnevik is 6'4 and 201 lbs already. Wouldn't mind having another late round, college find a la Terry. Still too early to say much except he's on a great start to his college career.

Terry was physically underdevelopped (part of it is he was almost ineligible for being too young) and played behind a stacked team (3rd line) which made him fall in the draft. Burnevik is 200 pounds and an overager so very different situations.

Either way, Burnevik's start is quite promising, hopefully he keeps it up.
