so if they're coaching the PP that way, why is it we don't see it on the ice? what we see is them losing the face off, wasting 30-45 seconds to get into the zone; get into the zone then MAYBE have one guy in front of the net, one sometimes two guys on the blueline who just pass it back to each other for 30 seconds, one guy in the slot, and Frank or Mctavish just waits on side for a one timer that they normally miss.
where is the disconnect between what the coaches are asking of them and what the players are actually doing? also if your strategy is for them to just shoot, maybe start teaching them how to shoot a goddamn puck that actually GOES TO THE NET. so many shots get blocked or deflected because our guys are so predictable. do they practice like putting in rebounds at all? because they are f***ing awful at it.
