Good move.

He's going to be an NHLer, that is not in doubt at all, but I don't think he held onto the puck for more than a couple seconds in any of his games.

Needs to be slow cooked in Belleville. I want him to turn into Paul Gaustad, not David Steckel.
I don't think holding on to the puck is his game though; didn't see it when he was playing at the WJC either. He seems to be the type who makes the right quick moves to disrupt play in the D zone, then gets rid of the puck quick and helps with the transition.

OTOH what we haven't seen yet is big hits, or his big shot.

I don't know what else he needs to do to get people to realize he's not worth paying attention to anymore.

Will go down as one of the worst top 10 picks in a long long time.

Boucher was voted 15th in our below average pool and that's only because he still had some believers.

Ampng the guys who were voted after him (Javon Moore, Oskar Pettersson, Blake Montgomery, Theo Wallberg , Luke Ellinas, Kevin Reidler, Tomas Hamara, Eerik Wallenius), I would vote at least Moore, Pettersson, Montgomery, Ellinas and Wallenius before him

Boucher is not even a Top-20 prospect in a bottom-10 pool... 3 years after being drafted. One of the worst picks in the 2000s

Not good in the NCAA “better suited to Canadian junior league

Not good there “better suited to the pro game
Not good in the AHL. I’m waiting for the “better suited to the NHL”
