So who still has Soogard ahead of Levi?
I think it's way too soon to say that Levi has passed him. At the AHL level, Sogaard was the established number 1. Neither have proven they can win at the NHL level.

So far Levi is off to a solid start but when Sogaard comes back, I assume he'll be back in the starter position.

Attendance is averaging 2500, 2nd worst in the league, only San Jose has worse attendance. 3rd worst is surprisingly the Manitoba Moose.

I wonder if Ottawa would support the B Sens in TD Place Arena.

I know the 67s are an institution and I am not serious about this. But on a personal level, I would be more inclined to go see a B Sens game than the 67s.
I'm more interested in Sens prospects than 17-19 year old kids dreaming of a pro career.

They should play in Kanata when we get our downtown arena, though Belleville deserves a team and I don't want to take it away from them.

Was at the 67s game today, scored free tickets from work, I am a 10 min drive from TD Place.

Didn't enjoy my experience much it was really tailored to youth hockey/kids and families. Which isn't bad and definitely the right marketing move for them, just not for me. It also didnt help that there are no Sens prospects on the team so I really didn't give a shit about the on ice product.

If it was the bSens I would definitely try and see them more often over there since I am invested in the Sens. But yes very unrealistic because OSEG would likely need to be in agreement and doubt that happens.

I dunno man, I get the importance of Belleville having hockey but at the same time 3rd worse in attendance? That city has to show up and support their team. I rather have the bSens in Gatineau or Kingston for proximity reasons and feel they can support a second team.

Rumours are that the B-Sens will move to the newly renovated arena in Hamilton when their lease is up. Andlauer owns the displaced Hamilton OHL team. Then Belleville could get an OHL team.

Subban starts, Simpson backup for BSens

Roster Notes
The crease likely will look different tonight with Malcolm Subban projected to make his first start as a Belleville Senator.

The former Belleville Bull was let go from the Grand Rapids Griffins earlier this season and needed to make five saves on six shots, along with a couple of stops in the shootout in a late relief appearance for Leevi Merilainen last night.

It’s unclear if Merilainen will be okay to dress tonight after leaving with what head coach David Bell described as a ‘tweak’ suffered while making a save.
