Because he's still a decent 3rd line center option. His problem with the Avs, is that they were trying to to use him as a 2nd line center and even had to put him out with MacK and Mikko because Compher sucked balls.
He has shockingly been good since he left here lmao

I guess. IMO, your team isn't going anywhere if a 35 year old Lars Eller is your 3C.

It only took the Leafs like 100 years to realize Dubas wasn’t a good GM and they got rid of him. Now he’s there to ruin the Penguins
He is young. He can still learn. Haha.

But Pens was terrible choice for him, if he had to build quick success for them.. Terrible job really.

I’m not even sure if he’ll ever learn. And to think he almost became the Avs GM
Don’t blame him entirely for this. He’s made mistakes, sure, but the owners have tried to stretch out a window that was closed a while ago.

If he f***s up the eventual rebuild, yeah, slag him, but he inherited a shit situation to begin with.

Not nearly enough flack gets thrown at Rutherford following that 2nd Cup. From around the draft that year forward he lost his damned mind.

Stop defending him and attack him!! (Way more fun!)

Naw, there are plenty of dumb GMs way more deserving than him.

Maybe I’ll come to regret these words but I bet what Barry Trotz has done as Predators GM will have far worse implications for their future than anything Dubas has done in Pittsburgh for theirs.
