Drouin is trying to get a "buyout proof" medium term deal. Seems like he doesn't actually believe he can keep up a high level of play and wants that insurance.

Would only come back if the bigger money isn't actually there.

Colton is move able but a replacement would be needed and they're actually going to try to give him more rope to play next season.

Front office is confident Kovalenko is a played. Bednar isn't so sure. May see him get buried early and never really have a chance.

Tbh if I’m giving a discount to a team I want to stay with, I’m making my sure it’s buyout proof too. The agent won’t let his client get ripped off.

What did I miss? Where is that from? Why are you posting this without source or context?

Lots of free wallets this off season just like Drouin was for us. Might be even higher upside.

I really like Bodqvist as a bottom pairing Dman, if we add a big defensive guy. Skinner would be amazing on our PK.

We missed out big on Morgan Geekie, lets not do that again.

Not on a discount. He'll take the most guaranteed dollars he can. From anyone as long as the contract total is in the $20s.

I guess a Nuke buyout probably isn't going to happen but it would coincidentally fit our contending window. The cap hit this upcoming year and the one after are light and then manageable for another 2 years (for a team with no bad contracts) and then 2 years of pain followed by 6 years of manageable again :
