Chychrun McAvoy Hampus Carlo Lohrei Peeke on the back end is getting me giddy and I feel like opening a bag of jalapeno doritos.
Don't let the Bruins affect your enjoyment of those doritos my friend.

For me Bruins and Doritos go hand in hand. Euphoria and a bad case of stomach gas.Don't let the Bruins affect your enjoyment of those doritos my friend.
Have fun but be careful.Alright, folks. I'm going golfing for 3 days then heading on a 5 day drunken fishing trip to hunt the elusive 40 pound lake trout (My record is 38.2 pounds) - Hopefully the team looks different when I'm back.
@NeelyDan you're in charge, bud. Water the plants.
We are not going to settle for that 25 pick in opinionSo we are somewhere between chychrun and a first and ottawa realizing Ullmark will only waive for them/other teams Ullmark would waive for arent in the hunt.
Which one are we closer to and what will it end up being?
I will ship you some for freeIf Donny pulls that off I'm gonna buy a Don Sweeney rookie card .

I hear it is also a great place to raise a family.
What was the comment? It is 100% a HF thing when someone tries to shit on Dom, only for one of the "big names" to come out with a tweet saying EXACTLY what Dom had said 24 hours prior. I can't slam that ignore button hard enough
Good point, I just think we are not trading him to Ottawa (in the division) unless its a deal we can't refuse.Technically if its for a 1st, that opens up $5m in cap space. Maybe Sweeney likes someone on the free agent market better than what is being offered in trades.
For purely hypothetical purposes. What if it was the 25th pick and chychrun offered. Is that any different than if Sweeney likes FA tevu teraveinen and he trades Ullmark to the senators for the first and goes out and signs Teraveinen instead?
OR it could be any other FA player doesnt have to be teraveinen, just for a random example
Are you nuts?I wonder if they would entertain Chabot 1 for 1. Almost definitely not, ofc
I really see Linus holding firm and coming back for his final year. I like the guy and understand but maybe Donny learned a lesson about NTC

Nothing burger until Dom decides he's done contributing to this forum. Wouldn't affect some here but I enjoy reading what he has to say quite a bit.It was a nothing burger imo.
You're missing one difference in the Hall situation vs Ullmark. Buffalo was not a contending team and therefore gained nothing by keeping him all year, where the Bruins will compete and can easily just decide to keep him to help the team if they are being lowballed.Definitely some posturing, but I think @goldnblack might have alluded to it/ nailed it earlier when they said "how long until Ottawa realizes they are bidding against themselves"
If the only team trying to trade for Ullmark, that Ullmark will waive his NMC is for the senators, then we kind of have a Taylor hall situation on our hands where we got him for super cheap because he would only accept a trade to the bruins.
If the senators are the only teams that Ullmark will accept a trade to among the teams trying to trade for him, then why would the senators be offering the markstrom deal (or more) when they know the bruins are backed into the corner of dealing him to the senators or keeping him on the roster.
Personally I think its somewhere in the middle, but would not be surprised with any result.
You may think you are bidding against yourself until you lower your ask and another team swoops in all of a sudden. This new GM should be careful playing any type of game like that. Look no further than what happened to the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2023 TDL with the Gavrikov/Orlov situation.I posted this today just before 1pm
We now have the answer, haha.
LMAOBoston Bruins - 2024-25 Roster and Salary Cap Discussion II
I wouldn't be upset if we signed him but I'm a little worried about what he could end up being. He's had a bad year and seems to have gotten a little worse once he got to Vancouver. You're right he can play down as he ages but I feel like he's one of these guys that doesn't age well. There’s...forums.hfboards.com
Good reminder for some posters that they don’t know everything.

Ottawa needs a goalie like Ullmark more than Boston needs to trade him, IMO.
