Schedule strength gets tricky at this time of the year.
I think we already see what schedule strength will mean.
A lot of contenders have already secured the playoff spot, and are taking easy at this time. Carolina did look uninterested and Florida had those heavy resting yesterday, was giving their depth players a chance to adjust in.
This is giving easier games for Red Wings, those team records (for schedule strength) will mean nothing at the moment.
Montreal is the only do-or-die game left. Others are all "taking easy" playoff teams, we could win them all, if they have this attitude to take easy.
vs. CAR - win (Carolina had secured a playoff spot 1 game earlier)
vs. FLO - win (Barkov, Tkachuk, Bennet, Reinhart, Ekblad, Forsling, Bobrovsky missing or resting. That was ~50M of cap value off from roster)
@ MTL - Do or DIE.
@ FLO (could be same roster resting/injuries game 2, as yesterday)
@ TBL (secured playoff spot, could be uninterested)
vs. DAL (has secured playoff spot, and almost the opponent too, Colorado)
@ NJD (has secured the playoff spot, and opponent too, CAR)
@ TOR (could be totally meaningless game for TOR on last round)
