Best of luck to Monty in St. Louis. He'll have the same problem there that he had here. Not enough horses up front.
seeing more and more players reverting back to how it was a few short years ago, the hit from behind is a thing again (see Carlo recently) and it ain`t getting calledShitty luck for Norris given he's already struggled with injuries in his short career.
Uncharacteristically dirty play by Quinn.
Odd pairing indeed.Hmmm lClaude second fiddle to Monty's "anti system system." It's going to be weird for Claude IMO.
Claude with his structured system IMO is in direct opposition to whatever ti was that Monty was doing.
Did Monty allow the B's to flounder so that he would get fired and go back to where his "wife was happy?"
totally wondering out loud if Claude doesn`t want to be a HC any longer and as he`s older now, he`s AOK not having to handle the burden of being a HC these days?Hmmm lClaude second fiddle to Monty's "anti system system." It's going to be weird for Claude IMO.

Played? The guy had a win percentage of over .700 and was expecting to not get hosed in negotiations. Wouldn't be surprised if this is what led to him looking more out of touch than he probably was. Hard to do anything when you're a lame duck and the organization clearly doesn't have faith in you given they couldn't agree to a new deal.Makes you wonder, The Bruins got played by this clown.
Did you not watch him coach in the playoffs?Played? The guy had a win percentage of over .700 and was expecting to not get hosed in negotiations. Maybe he wasn't the long term fit, fine. But Sweeney and Neely still bungled this like everything else their big, dumb hands touch.
Ask Washington how well this strategy worked after they let Barry Trotz walk just after the cup win.
He had Boston in position to beat the Panthers in 2023. Not his fault the players blew multiple leads in game 6, then a one goal lead in game 7.Did you not watch him coach in the playoffs?
I'm so sick of the talk of Monty being some amazing coach.
He sucked in the playoffs both years here.

And frankly beating Toronto last year was probably more than people should have expected.
Amish men don’t have mustaches.Joe looks like he's been hanging out in Amish country
What are you talking about????Wonder if the Blues have any players who will throw temper tantrums and hissy fits cause they don't get their own way like some of our guys do
Claude Julien - unemployed 7 days
Bruce Cassidy - unemployed 8 days
Jim Montgomery - unemployed 5 days
That has to be some sort of record.

What a proud moment for former Bruin Michael Nylander- both his sons in the NHL.
He was the coach one shot away from being the only head coach to blow 3-1 series leads in consecutive PO years in N. America's four major league sports history. Did Trotz have that in common with Montgomery?Played? The guy had a win percentage of over .700 and was expecting to not get hosed in negotiations. More to the point, it sounds like they hire really good coaches and give them the freedom and resources to succeed.Sounds like they have had really good coaches.
Sounds like the players are the problem.Sounds like they have had really good coaches.
