Pens are soon to be in the same boat the B`s have been recently when Crosby and Malkin hang em` up, in fact, they`ll be in even worse shape as they`ll also be looking for a Letang replacement as well, simply near impossible to have a succession plan for what I imagine are 3 first ballot HOF`ers
If it wasn't for finding Pasta and McAvoy in the middle of the 1st round, Bruins would already be where the Penguins are headed.
Even with Crosby the next few years, their outlook is very grim. They traded a lot of 1st rounders chasing cups and are now paying the piper.
I think Crosby is a Penguin for life and would be shocked if he's not part of the management group after his playing days are done.
