Absolutely pointless hit. Reaves is a plug who should stick to talking crap on the bench while playing 4 minutes a night.
Hopefully Nurse is okay. As much as it is fun to bag on him you never want to see a guy look like that coming off the ice.

Nurse does get caught napping there but Reaves needs to not lead into hits with an elevated shoulder. Completely unnecessary and the 5-game suspension is warranted. Can't blame the other guy's mistake when your own technique is wrong.

Reaves took a solid run at him but Nurse is looking straight down at the puck the entire time.
Definitely suspension worthy but every young D-man should be shown that clip.
I feel really bad for completely misreading this.
My buddy sent me a text with this storyvand got mad when I saw Lou say blessing in disguise and I'm like "wow, where does this asshole get off?"
And then I saw heart issue. Makes way more sense in that regard since you know, undetected heart issues can kill you. That's obviously what Lou meant.

Ovechkin league leading 15 goals & 25 points.Just amazing is all I can say.I saw him in World Jr's live torch team USA, but I never saw this many goals coming.He left tonite after a knee on knee collision but hopefully be ok.
