Torts was right on this one. Funny to see the ref deny it as though there game wasn’t being filmed.

Stupidly, my initial thought about the incident was "well, I've never seen that before, but I guess he changed his mind", completely forgetting about the fact that teams PULL THEIR GOALTENDER for an extra man as soon as a referee raises his arm. What in the hell do the referees/the league do if the opposing team ends up scoring on the empty net in that situation? About as amateur of a circumstance as can be concocted in an NHL game.

I'd take either preferably Petterson, but Miller would be ok.,would have rather gotten him way back in 2018 along with McDonagh when the rags were just giving guys away.
