Not asking for insider information. Just asking you, based on what you're seeing...do you think he's back before or during the playoffs? Or, god forbid, not at all?

Seems like bunch of folks are worried about this whole swelling thing. I have no idea how much inflammation we are talking about here, so I have no idea how worrisome this should be. I just have a mental image of the archangel Gabriel Landeskog refusing to be told he can't play.

I am obviously a mega-fan blinded by my love of the man. But since I don't believe in god, but think I have to believe in something, I've chosen to believe that Gabe is going to make me stand up and scream in joy once again. I'm looking forward to my salvation.

Believe in the nordic god.

I briefly scanned through the two pages and didn’t see any mention of it from beyond board speculation, so I asked

If Val comes back before another injury hit, it will be the first time this season our 7 top 6 players (including Colton) play at the same time.

There it is, I jinxed it ;-)
We will never be healthy but if we get Nuke back here's what I'd role out.

Drouin-Mack-Rantanen
Lehkonen-Mitts-Nuke
Colton-Parsinnen-Innala
Kivi-Kelly-LOC

3rd and 4th lines get about equal ice time. Obviously Innala is playing too high up but that's because Wood and Landy are out. LOC should really be 3RW but the 4th line has good chemistry.

I'm not going to push Nuke to come back from an injury too soon.

We've been down that road way too many times. Him actually going on the IR is a good thing in my opinion. That means he's not snorting coke to get through this.

This is actually a good observation. I'm guessing that the buffet table of available pain meds is - in Nuke's case - pretty limited. Nuke gobbling opiates for pain management so he can play through whatever he has is not an option.
