"When he's good, he's good".

It might not be a physical issue. In which case everybody needs to back off.
He has sighted mental health issues before when he was in Montreal. Obviously, one had hoped he would be in a better situation playing with his best friend here in Colorado but it doesn't mean those demons have not come back. If that is the case he just plays when he can and we move on.

They sorta did this with Byram as well, although we knew what was wrong. It was just, Do what you can when you can, we will wait.

Sounds pretty straightforward for both Drouin and Nuke.
JB even alluded it to being an injury. Sounds like something that goes in and out of swelling/inflammation. Could be something like a tendinitis of his shoulder.
For nuke, he was on the ice. They thought he could play before end of the trip and seems like he’s probably not 100% yet based on his skate this morning. Avs are playing well and winning. No sense in rushing anyone

This will not be my final memory!!!

Not sure if you saw it, but they were asked in the post game about when we may see Gabe back.

Keefe said, "I don't know when, but....(long pause then Keefe and Mitchell looked at each other and both said) sooner rather than later."

Then Ryker said, "The best we've ever seen him skate has been the last two practices."

I'll take one for the team and go on LTIR so my $15 million doesn't count against the cap that way Lando can come back

You damn, beautiful bastard, we don’t deserve someone as selfless as you…which is why it I will take the 15 million dollar contract on LTIR. We can’t lose you!

Nuke is on IR?
Hey man...that misunderstanding must all be on me. Nuke is injured. They don't need any money to bring up a scrub right now, especially since Ivan² has been placed in IR. But if I'm not mistaken IR is taggable. Meaninng they could retroactively put Nuke on it back to the last game meaning he could also clear and get back on the ice based on the injury date, not the date they paperwork processed. I believe IR is a minimum of a week or seven days from the date of injury. But since it's not necessary to process paperwork for it, unless you need it, I just kinda view all injured players as on the IR.

It was my bad terminology there.

Well, not for nothin but I don't trust them to judge anything correctly haha.

Come this time next week the Avs will be without like 5 guys again
The burger? I blame Mack!

You know how teams have cap wizards? This board needs an Avs injury-speak whisperer to try to parse all the word salads we get about player absences.
