Nichushkin is knuckles deep in some ass with powder on his nose as we speak most likely.

"Needs some time" my ass, Jared. We know you covering for him you dirty dog.
Nahh, Nukie ain't gonna let us down.

Nuke is the most important player come playoffs. Nuke is just healing his injuries and hopefully he will be back in lineup soon.

That's an immediate stiffy. Especially if he f***s up Mark Stone while yelling "THIS IS WHAT REAL LTIR LOOKS LIKE"

Gabe is looking damn good, but based upon past experience with other top tier players and similar injuries I am skeptical of the long-term outlook. If he can come back and participate in the playoffs and help the team win another cup it's a huge win. I honestly don't see much beyond that but am cautiously optimistic.

There aren't really many other comparable situations though with this knee cartilage transplant surgery.

Lonzo Ball and a European soccer player are the only ones I believe. Both came back and played.

Ball in October, and I think he's been playing ok, but maybe someone who follows more closely can comment?

Lonzo Ball had a bit of a rough start to the season. He was quite rusty and he also ended up with an unfortunate wrist injury which caused him to miss several games right after he returned.

But since the start of January he's been trending upwards sharply. In 14 games from October-December he only shot above 40% from the field (his career average) in 5 of them. In 6 games in January he's shot above that mark 4 times and is at 45% for the month to date.

Looked like he had a pretty solid game the other day in a starting role too right?
