I'm not getting excited for the simple reason that we can't bring him back until the playoffs because of cap reasons.

Gabe is looking damn good, but based upon past experience with other top tier players and similar injuries I am skeptical of the long-term outlook. If he can come back and participate in the playoffs and help the team win another cup it's a huge win. I honestly don't see much beyond that but am cautiously optimistic.
