I had a dream last night Landeskog scored in his first game back and he and MacKinnon kissed after it. At least we have that to look forward to if Makar does need an amputation.

The Makar play looked innocent enough. Probably some muscle pull amd encouraging that he tried to give it go in the 3rd. I'd be more concerned if it was injury caused by direct force (ie. falling and landing on something). Get better soon Cale!

Also I'll never prove it but there's got to be a correlation between having an enforcer "police man" and team injuries.

If Makar is out for any period of time, our only real method of producing goals, the powerplay, is going to take a big hit.

We know it will be Toews as the anchor and he won’t offer nearly as much movement along the line for the reverse pass on puck retrievals or of course the shooting threat. Toews doesn’t shoot and teams will be cheating towards MacK and Rants a ton more. It’s an easy PK adjustment.

Which would suck. Malinski should be the obvious replacement on the PP.
