One player comes back, potentially 3 go down

Makar is as good as dead, he had the "came back and played a bit after getting hurt" nail driven into his coffin

Kivi probably concussed

Kelly blocked too many shots, something is probably broken

I hate this f***en team. Can't even celebrate a simple win when you root for the Ambulanche

Prediction: Bednar tonight will say he didn't talk to the trainers yet and in a couple of days he'll say that Makar "pulled something" and is day to day

The way he lifted the left leg and did a bit of a kick suggests ankle or knee.

Going to guess 2 weeks.

Edit: Yeah, could also be groin.

JD has been D2D for 5 weeks, but he's about to return, so someone has to go down. Nuke is about to return as well, so I fully expect someone else to get hurt in the next 10 days.

What makes you guys think Cale is actually out for an extended period? Did he not come back out in the third?

Was the Kivi injury the charging penalty Kraken took near the end?

It was clear that Makar was holding his right leg in the groin area on the bench. So he either pulled his groin or his adductor muscle.I'm afraid it's for at least a couple of weeks.

hip flexor / abductor , probably the same injury he had last year.

I'm going through that now and it's been 3 months , no improvement

I know this is maybe a bit late but with another Landeskog setback, how long do we just let him sit around and take up cap space? I love the dude, one of my favorite Avs ever. But we need that cap space and he isn’t playing.

Over the rainbow
LOL

So, let me get this straight: We finally got some good news and an really important player back in Lehky, just to lose an even more important guy (Makar) just 5 minutes later!

And on top of it we have some ramblings about our captain and a potential setback in his recovery, which means, if true, he's likely done playing professional hockey for good.

F*CK THAT SHIT! What a shitty, shitty time to be an Avs-Fan!

I HATE THIS F*CKING TEAM.

This probably is a positive and should have happened 2 years ago. Even if Landy were to come back he won’t be a 7M player.

He’s on LTIR. The avs have his space if they want to use it. If he’s not coming back, they likely will.
