He’s on vacation until next years training camp press conference where he says he thinks he’s close or whatever then rinse and repeat until his contract expires.
Yeah, I get the (good) sarcasm.

But look, the guy was reported (seen)to be skating hard and trying to turn it up. And then we see and hear nothing for weeks since. Somebody should be making some noise about this. Love his leadership but he's taking up valuable cap space and the Avs have some serious problems at a number of positions that need to be addressed.

Wasn't sure where to ask this but what's the deal with Tucker Poolman? Do the Avs even have plans for him to play for them eventually at a 2M hit or did they just get him to park on LTIR?

Also if feels like Lehky has been skating in a regular jersey for a week+, why is he never playing?

WTF happened to Landy? Here we are 6 months after the Dallas series where we've been told there was a chance he'd play. Six f***ing months and not only he's not skating with the team yet but he's nowhere to be found. HELLO?!

I'm really getting impatient here

They already said they're aiming for Tuesday on Lehky. Landy is still a mystery though. But I think that's more of just how the Avalanche operate rather than Landy having any sort of setback. Because with how Cap crunched we are, if there was a setback I'd assuming they just immediately put him on LTIR.

If there was no major step back on Landy some people were getting lied to six months ago.

You already saw what he did for the 22 cup. There's a chance that Landeskog was just preparing to play in spite of what the doctor said. Look at Tua over in the NFL. No one thinks he should be playing right now, but for better or worse, he made the choice.

And over in the NBA, Ball is just barely returning, and Landeskog had his surgery after.

It's not realistic to believe that he'd have risked the success of his surgery and waste all that recovery time just for a playoff round if he wasn't ready.

It's possible that he was really close to come back 6 months ago but something happened. That'd fit the Seravalli (or Friedman?) narrative that at one point fairly recently the Avs believed he'd never come back.

Or he didn't have a major setback and is taking the full patience approach after missing two years rather than rushing at any point in his recovery.

In which case he was never close to come back last year.
