Sawchyn doing good. 25GP 14G 20A 34P. Bro just needs to eat more liverwurst pattie sandwiches with mayo and mustard. Hopefully he's more than 154 ibs by now from what elite prospects says. Else we gotta have Ekblad give him some dietary advice.

NHL.com would be more accurate and it says he's 157 lbs, but he's probably gonna lose a few pounds over the season. Seriously, he's gotta get on a bulking plan over the summer. He looks like he's never lifted a weight in his life. Hepo 2.0

Latvija with the shocker, beating Canada in shootout. Crazy game. Hope Balinskis was watching and getting tips on effort.

Prelim round

Heineman with 9 goals already. That 2020 draft looks sick for us. Lundell, Heineman, and Levi will probably at least be a backup at some point. If Sourdif or Benning turn into anything, that's a stud draft.

Checkers playing some good hockey of late, 8-2-0.
19-8-1-2 record in 30 games.
Nearly averaging 4 goals a game with 110 goals for and 82 against.

Points wise, the team is led by veterans so far. John Leonard (?) is leading the team in goals and points, 2nd in assists.
15 goals, 31 points in 30 games.

Bright spot looks to be Benning, only played 16 so far but 2 goals and 13 points. At 23 now, he should complete his 2nd full pro season with them and Charlotte looks to be a playoff team nearing half way point of season.

Looking forward to see if he can be a 3rd pairing guy (NHL) soon who develops into a great #4 Dman and PP contributor.

In net, Driedger is playing horrible right now, 3+ GAA and sub .900 sv%.
Ken Appleby (?) is posting really strong numbers in contrast, not sure where he came from, along with Leonard but the team is winning right now and tied for 2nd in their division.

Leonard is a guy the Sharks has hopes for but he could never stick with them. I guess they wanted to try other guys in the AHL.

Devine is halfway into the season and he's currently 2 points shy of the lead league in the NCAA with a statline of 31 points in 22 games, he only has 4 goals though lmao.

He seems to be our best prospect atm if I'm not mistaken, has anyone watched him play recently? How is he?

I've watched a couple games of his this season, he's been good. He's still getting a lot of good scoring chances, it just hasn't gone for him this year. If he makes it in the NHL though, he's gonna have to play with a couple good skaters, he still really doesn't have separation quickness. He's more of like a Huberdeau.
