Seems unrealistic, i think we'd all be on board.Frederic for Saad? In a heartbeat!

How about PIT? Do they have anything the Blues would want. Why would the Bruins want Saad?

Saad is from PIT, so I thought maybe,,,,,I’m just not sure why a non playoff team wants Saad.

I'm thinking more about his family. Not realistic, maybe, but that's my thought process,Possible I guess. Not sure why a shitty team would spend assets on a shitty player lol
They wouldn't. I'm pretty sure that the Bruins would want futures at this point. I don't think Kimzey was actually proposing a Frederic for Saad swap, it's more like he was just describing the level of player we should realistically expect in return. I just answered because I really like Frederic. Why would the Bruins want Saad?
He would have to be willing to waive to go there. You never know; he might.what about Toronto for saad?
Got the Berube connection.
They probably don’t expect Pacioretty to sustain 15-16 min a game for a whole season.
Therefore they probably would like some dirt cheap secondary scoring on the left side.
McMann seems suited for the 4th line role.
Maybe we can pry something out of Toronto. Maybe it can be a little better than what we were going to get if we retain and give them a nice cheap secondary scoring threat for 2 years.
Agreed, also wonder what their plan is with Robertson? He seems like someone who could benefit from a change of scenery and fits the timelineHe would have to be willing to waive to go there. You never know; he might.
I would ask for a 2nd. Being that it will likely be a high 2nd, I don't think that is unreasonable.
I think it’s more than plausible to see an expiring contract coming back, especially if it means no retention and/or a better return.I don't expect a player back for Saad unless it's a lower end prospect. I'm expecting mid round picks.

If Saad is traded to a playoff-bound team, then it would be a mid to low 2nd unless the receiving team doesn’t have their own 2nd and has a bad team’s 2nd from a previous trade. He would have to be willing to waive to go there. You never know; he might.

The Frederic speculation is that there might be mutual interest for obvious reasons with Frederic & the Blues when he becomes a free agent this summer...has nothing to do with Saad. Boston should get a healthy return for Frederic if they believe he's not re-signing and want to move him at the deadline...Freidman said there is a lot of interest leaguewide.I don’t dislike Frederic, and I think it’d be cool for him to come home, but I would just prefer an actual center coming back in a Saad deal.
I’m sure we’d have to add a little bit to get it done, but we already have too many bottom six wingers as is.
Who knows though, maybe the plan is to use Holloway at C until Dvorsky is ready. I just like him more at the 2LW spot next to Holloway and Kyrou.
