Depends on how they evaluate the numbers. If raw numbers are used, Thomas' injury is the driver there.

I imagine it probably has something to do with the level of talent they've been playing against that suppressing Thomas' numbers.

Last year's deadline returns were very, very underwhelming. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility we could find someone to help our center depth without a painful return.

Too much money and term for my liking. He signed a 5 year contract with a full NMC this past summer. And while he signed with CBJ to play with Gaudreau, I have a feeling he’s not moving from there anytime soon.
