I just saw Ben Allison was given a one game suspension after picking up a CFB major on Friday night against UPEI. So the Huskies will be without one of their best players Friday night against UNB.

I also just realized him and St. FX’s Sam Allison are brothers…somehow never noticed that before.

And their dad has a 200+ pim season in both the AHL and WHL.

What other siblings are in the AUS right now?

This table tells me that every team except UNB has a game average penalty total close to that of UPEI, when they play UPEI.

In Tuesday's game UPEI had 3 minors for 6 pims, UNB had 22 pims, 6 minors and a 10.

Average per game in 4 UNB/UPEI games is now UPEI 29 pims, UNB 24 pims

Further to the SMU-UPEI game, I saw this clip on Xwitter of Gentile's 2nd EN goal where a UPEI player (Cohen) takes a 2-handed chop at his ankle and breaks his stick.

Bad procedure by the Referee - that's an awarded goal requiring the official to blow the whistle immediately (to avoid any 'over the top' celebrations) and award the goal.

C'mon, it was in PEI. The refs live there and everyone on the Island know where they live, who their Daddy is and where their kids go to school.

fwiw, with their win tonight over SFX, UPEI claims the last playoff spot.

DAL will finish no better than 7th.

UNB 6-1 over SMU
UNB was relentless from puck drop to finish last night and SMU seemed like they were just a step behind all night long.
It looks like UNB will rotate between the pipes, until playoffs.
