Listening to both Marchand and Pasta, there is also a zero chance Pasta ever said he doesn’t want to play with Marchand. They both sound genuine when they say it never happened. Maybe that reporter heard from someone else, but he should do a better job confirming before putting it out to public

You can't have a #3 like that. He can't be sent down or he will be claimed so you have to keep 3 goalies on your roster which is quite a cap and roster constrain. Also goalies want to play and these goalies "ménage à trois" never work.

I have no doubt they’ve had their issues. Both guys come off as surly punks (not always a bad thing). But I’m not buying that Pasta demanded to be on a different line.
