Montreal making it over the Sens, Wings and Sabres would be hilarious.
Bonus: they play Toronto in round 1 and knock them out.

While Kekäläinen gets some awarded blame, many players that are just now stepping up are products of his era and he of course doesn't get credit for any of em no more.

His drafting has been great. Some guys that may have taken some time to get there, but Marchenko and Voronkov especially have been fantastic this year.

And they’ve been picking top 5/10 since. I’d rather it be Ottawa, Buffalo, or even Detroit. For several reasons, it’s good when a team emerges from a rebuild.

I hope sens make it, Montreal or Columbus would be cool too. I saw a post of playoff matchups at the halfway point of the season a couple days ago and it just seems like there’s very little movement in the standings over the last few years. Same teams playing eachother al the time. In particular, LA and Edmonton were matched up which would be 4 years in a row I believe.

This is exactly what I hate about Torts. Players clearly went after Cutter and Torts says it's media fabricated BS and blames journalists, as usual.
It's fine to say that you wish the crowd was like this for meaningful stuff instead of hating a kid but it's not fine to blame media for everything. Your players didn't go after Gauthier to please the media, f*** off Torts.
