If I was guessing:

Marchand - McDavid - Hyman
Crosby - MacKinnon - Marner
Stone - Scheifele - Point
Bedard/Johnston/Wilson/Konecny/Thomas some combo of 4 of those 5 get the final spots, with Konecny and Wilson likely having the upper hand due to age and PK ability.

But yeah, RNH, O'Reilly and Stamkos likely won't be there IMO. I'm 100% sure RNH won't be.

On a different note, it's insane how many of Canada's best forwards are right shots. Only 3 of the forwards above shoot left. That never happens.

It's there to help junior teams so they don't go bankrupt, so I understand it. If players don't like it, they could've gone the NCAA or European route. You don't need to go to the CHL.

I don’t think it’ll result in that. Plenty of 19-year-olds will still be sent back when the NHL club doesn’t want to activate the contract.
