Utah's ownership just gets it. I'd hope Stan would follow suit, but we all know he won't.

Reinbacher's looked worse because it wasn't even strong contact. That usually ends up being something like a meniscus tear. Happens all the time in basketball with knee on knee contact.

The way he came down looks exactly how I re tore my meniscus. Looks like he landed a little funny and got just enough of a twist to tear it.

He missed a year of proper development last year because he played on a shit, disorganized team in Europe that went through 5 different coaches. If he misses another year that's basically D+1 and D+2 down the toilet. That's the fast track to ruin a promising career.

Good on them for doing that. It's sad that it's a shock when I see prices like this all over twitter or the Atlanta Falcons prices because they're outliers.

Rogers Place in Edmonton is at least twice at much for popcorn and nachos. I don't remember the stand alone hot dog price but their combo with fries and soft drink is around $20 so it'll most definitely be more than Utah. Last year the chicken strips, fries, and drink was around $25.

Yup and Augusta National in that group too. $2 for a water and $3 for a hotdog still makes money and doesn’t take advantage of the consumer. Each time I’m at a pro sports game, I know I’m spending nearly an extra hundred between just my wife and me. I can’t imagine with kids how impossible it would be.

And then you go to Costco and you can get a bigger hotdog and a pop for $1.50. Insanity.

Last time I went to an NHL game I was more pissed that they'd keep the plastic cap of my Coke bottle than paying $6 for it.

Idgaf about prices for the most part if they are locally owned small businesses.

I try like hell not to give any money to big corporations who just want more and more.

Yup, this pretty much.

However I go to Italian football games (since I recently became a season ticket holder), and their prices are surprisingly cheap, especially compared to old Jokerit games in the Finnish Hockey league.
Like a large water for 1.50 or a large beer for 5.
Feels good to give something back as its the club that runs the stand.

If he's got NHL chops he'll make it despite that. Might take longer but he'll make it...now the question is whether or not he's durable enough for the game.
