Canada gets off to a quick 1-0 lead. Barlow. Price wheels around the Slovakia net, and passes it out front.

Dej runs into Price's backend and gets flattened.

Heidt made it to Switzerland and is playing.
Samuel Urban is not in net for Slovakia. He was huge against Sweden. Fursten is in net.

Bjarnason again for Canada.

Are Barlow's wife and kids attending the game?

Steve Yzerman, Kris Draper & Detroit's Swedish scout are there. TSN just showed them. Have to imagine HuGo is there too.

Canada 1-0 after 1.

Celebrini & Ritchie 2 best players up front for Canada. Celebrini isn't Bedard, but he's fast, really light on his feet, and can control the puck.

Pekarcik & Dej have been involved for Slovakia. Not much from Dvorsky.

Based on their play in this tournament, where it's a good chance to see how skating impacts in a fast, high level tournament: Dvorsky & Cristall will fall on draft day.

Calum Ritchie is a better prospect than Connor Geekie ever was. I can see him sticking in the top 15 for sure.

Pekarcik has been really good. Barlow gonna get some chances now that Heidt is there to feed him. Definitely reliant on other players to get him opportunities.

Hard to pass on Wood at 17.

Bjarnason ate Dvorsky alive on that PS.

Geez.....Slovakian goalie is David Desharnais tall......my guess is he goes undrafted.

Barlow looking good, like really good....I envision Washington doing the honours.

Wood is huge out there, as WTK eluded, would be my pick at 17 (go Boston!!)

Canada playing with so much more edge and initiative in this game than against Sweden
the competition probably has something to do with that.....buy ya, definitely looking better.

I've liked Barlow more than most on here during this draft cycle and this tournament is doing nothing to change my opinion of him. He's had crazy goal scoring production since he entered the OHL and does everything else it takes to win. Speed, skill, power, two-way play, board play, hockey smarts, leadership...and he keeps on producing.

You'd like to see Bjarnason not over slide there but Dvorsky has a high end tool and it's his shot, he's not gonna miss many times from right there.

makes you wish you had another top 10 pick......maybe a Matt Boldy clone? would be drafted in that same range, big, goal scorer.....nice player

Dvorsky definitely lacks jump to his game, that being said, he is 6'1 200 pounds, cant see him falling all that much, especially with the talent he possesses. Keep in mind the best player he was supposed to play with was Molnar, a projected 4th round pick who isnt attending the competition.

Overall not impressed so far, needs to be much better.

Not remotely the same. Boldy has off the charts skill level, is extremely comfortable on his forehand and his backhand.

Barlow is get puck, shoot puck, skate north, hit whoever has the puck and try to get back into a shooting posture.
