Fair enough. I personally liked his game but let me clarify that i don't want the Habs to pick him with their first pick.

After the two games i am really disappointed in Maxim Strbak.

I've never been super high on Strbak since his USHL numbers are so low.

Damn it, I had a dream that Eduard Sale was going top 3..

We still need some luck in the lottery to draft top 5 so that one of the big 4 drios to us if a team goes off board.

And note, we have a 0 3% chance of picking 3rd overall. So maybe it's us thar picks 3rd overall - and takes Sale.

P.S. I also had an amazing dream last night, only to wake back up to reality. I dreamt I got back in contact with this smoking hot woman I once briefly dated, but had absolutely nothing in common with. Amazingly we talked for hours and I realized something had changed and we were great together. Then I woke up.

Barlow has impressed me even less, but I'm not looking for Dvorsky to dominate, just looking for improvements in his game that I feel he's needed to show. So far nothing to tell me to change my evaluation.
Well at the least he’s shown good hands and passing ability which were two criticisms you had of him.

I agree with those saying he’s suffering from a weak supporting cast. But still, I expected more. One thing that I’ve noticed is his skating stride is wildly inconsistent. He’s clearly a great athlete who in spurts can fly, but most of the time he’s skating hunched over and his feet look like they are in sand. I’m not a “get that guy a skating coach” person, but Dvorsky would really benefit from a skating coach.

I still don't agree.

3-0 Czech (over Germany) Zidlicky and Sale (2).

It doesn't matter cause we are picking too early but Sale has been slept on too much. His talent is undeniable offensively.

Yeah...Will Smith will go ahead of Michkov. So it will probably come down to Benson vs Michkov for us. I have no problems going with Michkov...obviously...but they better make sure that the kid has any kind of interest in coming. 'Cause picking him while having absolutely no guarantees at all...is too big of a stretch for me at 5.

I kinda like Leonard more than Smith tbh

Smith has too many moves that rarely works vs pros.

Smiths moves come from a similar platform, it will work in the NHL because he's highly smart, deceptive and he's reading the defenders.

Cooley had the same knocks and then developed more pro habits in college. The kid has high IQ and high end skill, high IQ players adapt, but being able to outskill your contemporaries when the opportunity is there isn't a knock.
