Demidov is a HAB
Ritchie leading the team with 1g, 3a in 2 games, and +2.
He's a very quiet point producer in both the Hlinka and the U18s wow.

I'm just surprised so many places have Barlow in their top 10.. like you said, he's definitely an NHLer. You plop him on the PK and put him in the top 9 and he's gonna give you 20 goals and 40ish points and be valuable defensively and on board play but there's not a real high end offensive player there.
Lardis is firmly in the late 1st round conversation. He's a sniper, he can skate.. he thinks the game well.

He also put up a ppg this season on a really young team. I think he still projects as two-way 2nd line scoring center.
He's definitely getting underrated. He impressed every time I've seen him. I think with proper development and better surrounded he could produce much more. Could be a steal past 15He also put up a ppg this season on a really young team. I think he still projects as two-way 2nd line scoring center.
Why is Sweden so good?
Stenson might be putting himself in play in the mid first.Chances are, they've got some good future NHLers on that roster.

Defense. People tend to forget how important are defensemen to a hockey team (on defense AND offense). Sweden are the only team with 1rst rounder on D (ASP +/- Wallinder) and their D is deep. Why is Sweden so good?

Keep in mind that Dvorsky played with Pobezal on the wing. Pobezal is 2006 year and undersized and from the 2 games he played i can say that he just isn't ready yet. He was invisible that's why the coach swapped him in the third period for Masnica. (Masnica scored from Dvorsky assist). Pobezal also just came back from a 3-months long injury.Expected more from Dvorsky 2 games through.
Willander is honestly impressing me more than ASP.

Dvorsky has looked good, but he always does. Still haven't seen anything that makes me want to take him 5-7 though.

Dvorsky is really missing a good winger. He was supposed to play with Molnar but that player cant play for the national team because of a fight he got into with some guy on a floorball match.
In U20 or the Hlinka Cup where he scored lots of goals as a 15-16 years old he had much better teammates than now. Sykora, Petrovsky, Slafkovsky, Mesar, Molnar, Repcik, Honzek, Ciernik.
Meanwhile players like Barlow are surrounded with players that will go 1st and 2nd. On a Team Slovakia they will be lucky if they can squeeze one player in the 7th round from the current roster.
Some could argue that a first round pick should dominate even on a crap team.
Just wait til Habs management meets with him and sees what a "great kid" he is....
Fair enough. I personally liked his game but let me clarify that i don't want the Habs to pick him with their first pick.Barlow has impressed me even less, but I'm not looking for Dvorsky to dominate, just looking for improvements in his game that I feel he's needed to show. So far nothing to tell me to change my evaluation.
