There have never been many (28 in history, and at least two of those were Americans). Six were active last year (one American). That seems about typical.

The United States of America couldn't find a 2nd baseman?

it seems like there's just not enough pitching to go around. Canada's #3 starter should at least be a Triple A-level, not playing independent ball.

Tim Anderson almost short-arms his first play at 2B

Mercy rule only after 5 only a matter of time now.

It's actually not, KBO is alive and well and Lee Jung Ho is still coming to MLB most likely in the next few years. There are some good hitters on that team but the pitching is questionable. They really need to look into developing better pitching and bullpen because KBO has long been known for wacky comebacks and bullpen meltdowns

What a f***ing joke

The Tigers suck; Cabrera is nearly 40, on an expiring contract, hasn't been good in years, and doesn't really have any big milestones to reach; if Cabrera gets hurt, the Tigers probably get insurance to pay his contract anyway. That really is a joke.

Some of these young hitters on Canada look pretty legit. Gonna be even more fun to see what the lineup looks like for the next one...and if we get some pitching to show up lol

Dominicans beat Israel 10-0. But it's a walk off mercy rule, so evidently we celebrate it like it's a walk off and not a mercy rule. Maybe it's more because Nelson Cruz scored the last run. Israel had 1 hit.

DR vs, Puerto Rico tomorrow in a de facto playoff.
