Just such an unnecessary play, and dangerous on top of it, coach needs to get these kids focused

The actual player-on-player contact is not the issue, it's the location/distance from the boards and that it is late that make it bad. It's the kind of hit that accomplishes nothing but possibly injuring the player.
Thank you for explaining what I meant better than I did lol! The contact was fine, just unnecessary and dangerous given the boards.

Who cares. He is risky. You know - risky.
____

Everybody who rank him lower than 4 are stupid. Read it again. They are stupid. If you, my reader, read it and you think you would rank him lower than 4, you are stupid. Google mind pills, go back to school, reconsider your life, and at the same time rewatch the adult league VHL. If your opinion does not change and you continue to refer to some "specialists" who agree with you - you are a danger to society, quit power plants if you work there or any other socially significant work, start writing music, you don't need a basic iq for a sense of rhythm.
If you think the same way about Carlsson or you don`t think Bedard doesn`t deserve to be 1OA - read again this massage.

You are asking the wrong guy.
I have Carlsson as number 2-3 before things were getting started. In fairness, I can say - its very strong top 4 and we don't really know who will translate the game better. We just don't know. I like iq and two way game of Carlsson more, but he has some technical issues. On the other hand he is so good and definitely will work on his weakest sides of the game.
I'm not going to disagree with @Guadana too much at this point with Carlsson v. Fantilli because it's close between these two for me right now, and there's a lot of hockey to be played before the draft. I'll say right now it's more a matter of "what type of center do you prefer?" than a clear-cut "who is better?"

If I was going to tier the top of the draft right now? It would be as such:

Tier One:
1. Conor Bedard

Tier Two:
2. Matvei Michkov

Tier Three:
There's a huge gap between Michkov and anyone else, so no one

Tier Four:
3. Adam Fantilli
4. Leo Carlsson

This is to say that, in my view, Bedard is generational. Michkov is borderline-generational. Fantilli and Carlsson are tremendous prospects, so no slight on them, they're just not at the stratospheric level of a Bedard or Michkov. Either of them quite possibly would have gone #1 overall in 2022, just to give you an idea of how strong the 2023 draft class is at the top.
