I don‘t make the rules. Not enough time to adjust…I guess.
I didn‘t like the soft hooking and tripping calls either.

But if they stick to this interpretation, I‘m fine with it.

Some great work along the boards in the Finnish end, they keep this up the tying goal is coming.

Jukka Jalonen's challenge in the home turf is apparently something a referee won't easily go against.

Should've been good goal. As a Finn I shame for these kind of calls.

Finland looks really bad. Doesn’t deserve to have the lead. 1st line has been awful and has absolutely no chemistry. Some Finns have been saying that Rantanen will win the scoring race by a mile. But having one over 100 point guy from the NHL in the team doesn’t make the team automatically great or that player automatically the best player in the tournament. I think Finland has a pretty mediocre team. But of course Jalonen as a coach can make that work in the best case. I wouldn’t still count on anything, as this team’s roster is seriously mediocre.

Rantanen at times looks like he keeps forgetting he's not playing with MacKinnon and Makar. Only 1st game, give it some time.
