yup. he's a guy you'd least expect homers from, but he's hit some big ones along with Jano.
 
That was a terrible at bat. Swings at pitch 2 inches in front of the plate. Getting sick and tired of Vladdy

At least Pillar made some highlight reel jumps in the outfield. Vladdy's thing is a bellyflop slide into 2nd base should he be blessed with a double.:D
 
Vladdy needs to commit to losing more weight this offseason. And keep the weight off after losing it too.

It’ll let him be faster and have better at bats.

It's not Vladdys call they sent him to steal 2nd, it's desperation... you had much better base runners earlier you could have sent. The time to be aggressive was earlier in the game. This team lacks any desperation, real contenders come out and the 1st pitch is the same as the 100th. The sad thing is, they could easily change their approach and tweak a few things and become just as dangerous as anyone... just need to get through the plateau.
