Bullpen was fantastic. The length of it is nuts. I thought Scheinder's decisions were good as well. Likely could have gone Hicks instead of Garica in that spot but Garica has been awesome lately.


From the O's perspective, I get it. He's thrown a lot and they are well ahead so they can rest him more.

I would have liked to see Hicks out there again but this way he's fresh for tomorrow.

I will correct myself I thought the O's were well ahead of the Rays but they are only 2 games ahead. Can still see not over using Bautista though.

And as it turned out, not using Bautista cost them the game.

As soon as I saw Baumann come into the game with his 9-0 record and knowing we were due for a win against Baltimore, I had an intuition we had this one wrapped up. The universe was not going to allow Baltimore to win that game.

I meant that one of those wins was a gift when Fujinami couldn’t throw anything for a strike. 2nd time Jays actually beat the Orioles. Anyway, hoping for 5-8 after this series.

A win's a win. If that's your standard, there are probably multiple games that the Jays "gave" to the Orioles and the Orioles didn't actually beat them.
