Do you mean 2nd highest? Everything I see suggests the Jays see between the 1st and 3rd most pitches in the zone this year. I think that correlates well to their low walk rate and high average, but they're just not cranking on those pitches (at least at home). 3rd in wRC+ on the road vs 20th at home with nearly a 20 point difference in ISO. The dome has become a shitty park to play in for hitters

Likely the worst stretch of his career.I know Atkins got DeJong as an emergency from the Bichette injury, but boy is he a worthless pickup. Zero idea at the plate
It's middle of the pack for hitters according to park factor.

2B production has really picked up. Both Schneider and Biggio have been great the last couple of weeks.I take back all of the negative things I've said about Biggio.
They'll send Schneider down. Better for his development. He won't get much playing time.2B production has really picked up. Both Schneider and Biggio have been great the last couple of weeks.
it will be interesting to see if they down a 2B (Schneider) or a SS/3B (Espinal/Dejong) when Chapman and Bichette are back.
I agree that's what they will probably do. But i'm not sure we need both Espinal and Dejong when they serve the same role, and both can't hit. They'll send Schneider down. Better for his development. He won't get much playing time.
Espinal is the only really backup 3rd baseman on the roster.I agree that's what they will probably do. But i'm not sure we need both Espinal and Dejong when they serve the same role, and both can't hit.
