Call up some of the kids from AAA that are mashing. So sick of watching the same useless hitters look helpless at the plate. Let's try something else.

Wonder how long Espinal can live off a hot start two years ago. He's been trash for the better part of a year now.

No, I worded it a bit wrong. I meant the Jays and O’s aren’t close to each other in terms of contention and talent . Jays can’t hold a candle to Baltimore.
Unfortunately I agree 100%.

Frustrating to watch. Same situations and baltimore gets those clutch hits. Jays do not
It's like I said earlier, what we're watching right now is the difference between a contender and a pretender.

I don't really even think Baltimore is all that great. Jays are just stinking it up against the AL east teams in every phase.

Jays just don't have enough guys living up to expectations. These are the times you need your top talent to carry you and quite frankly our top guys haven't been good enough outside of Bichette and some of the pitchers.

Pearson looked like he was putting it together finally a couple months back and now he’s just totally lost it.

What an awful couple days.

Some more questionable decisions from Schneider tonight. Keeps in Ryu past 5 innings. Brings in Genesis to face righties/switch hitters. Should've let Richards go 2 innings to bridge the gap.

A 3-3 game is now 11-3

He gets hit really hard. Even his outs are usually smoked. Unless they can find a way to get more movement to fool hitters I don't have much hope for his development into a back end guy.

I don’t even know what Biggio is doing here anymore.

He’s their 4th best 2b, 5th best OF, 3rd best 1B. Hasn’t hit in 3 years. What exactly is his purpose and why does he have a locked-in roster spot over younger guys raking in AAA?
Coach likes him.

We're getting owned by a team that is spending 70 million on payroll vs us spending 213 million according to spotrac.

To think they also have arguably one of the best prospect pools with maybe one of the best prospects leaguewide is quite scary moving forward.

I don't like him as a bench player. He doesn't have great speed, doesn't have power, doesn't have above average defense.

He was likely getting close to being sent down then he had a hot streak but hasn't done much since.

EDIT: And that's the problem with the Jays bench, they have a few guys that don't excel at one or two aspects.

Biggio and Espinal should both be off this roster but nobody has the guts to do it. I think management gets too obsessed with micro managing every asset that it prevents the team from fielding the best roster.

Agreed. Didn’t mind it in the years the team wasnt competing but now it doesn’t make sense. Mitch White is another example.
