Eh Leafs are a great regular season team the Jays not so much only getting in because of expanded playoffs

Half of the NHL makes the playoffs, still more difficult and double the season length in baseball. Not comparing the difficulty of the sport but for a team to make the post season, baseball is tougher IMO. Only since covid has it got a little easier but still less teams making it.

Feels like there’s too much focus on the Berrios move, which, yes, was obviously an awful, disgraceful move.

But it’s the pick-off that will symbolize this group and front office for years to come.

Jays-Padres trade 2.0?

Vladdy and Bo trade for Soto and Tatis?
Wont change anything. I don't want to defend Vlad and Bo cause they don't deserve it but at some point there must be something hapening around your star players. The Jays only had 5 guys with 60 RBI and one did not play in playoffs and another one got it at the last minute while playing against teams either eliminated or sure to make it while playing 158 games (i.e. he did not really got it). Jays had only one guys with 80 RBI (technically two if Bichette is not injured).

The jays basically ask their stars players to do it all and that wont cut it unless you have the two best players in the entire league. There's not a single pitcher in the payoffs who would be afraid with guys on base against the bottom of this lineup 0 out. You have to have guy like Orlando Cabrera in your lineup to support your star players and i'm sorry for the advanced stats lovers but Varsho is not that guy. The Leafs have the same problem btw. Nothing happening outside their stars. Maybe Knies will change that.

The bats were flaccid not a single clutch gamer in the bunch. Felt bad for the pitching staff zero run support for most of the season. Bums

ngl I'm glad I'm a bandwagoner

It must suck watching 162 games just to have your teams playoff run end in the span of 27 hours

Wonder what’ll happen with Manoah. Not a good look to struggle like he did and basically abandon his franchise. Could argue Jays didn’t do him any favours though rushing him back after his first rehab but whatever. Need him and Kirk to lose some weight and be in better shape next season.

But you only post when they lose and when they are winning, pretty telling there.

When you try to post when they lose you just get drowned by the other posters who think nothing is wrong, this is why most don't even bother. I have many PM's with convos that I enjoy with of people that refuse to post because they get pushed out.

Also right now you have very angry fanbase because we are 0-6 and scored 14 runs in those 6 games, with 9 of them in one game..

Merrifield, Belt, Kiermaier, Chapman out for sure

Guerrero, Springer, Varsho should be traded

2 of Jimenez, Martinez, Barger up if not all 3

Never getting value for Vlad, would hold off on trading him but man, please stick to a fitness routine for an entire year.

No one is touching Springers contract after the year he had, he's with us until retirement or he pulls a Tulo.

I hope first ones mentioned are gone, along with Ryu and a few other salaries leaving it would actually give the team the financial room for improvement... depending on who is making those moves.
