Biggio should not be batting 5th.
But then again no one else on this team should be batting 5th either.

Babe Ruth led the league in strikeouts 5 times.

He takes a ton of walks and hits for a ton of power, and is 36% better than a league average hitter.
.......... Did you seriously just compare Belt to Ruth?:oops::oops:

Did you seriously not get the point?

'Lots of strikeouts' is meaningless if the player takes lots of walks and hits for lots of power.

He hit .254 this year. How is it any different if he hit a lot of soft-contact groundouts instead of those strikeouts?

Doesn't look like Gray got it today. He was lucky against Biggio the two okaish curve right in the middle of the plate would have been in orbit against any high quality batters. They need to make him pay soon though don't let him find his groove again.

Dumb. 2 outs mnd u varsho is a shitty hitter
I think it was an okay play. Springer is paid 20 millions a year for those situations. With one of the slowest runner in MLB at 2nd and one that is not fast at 1st the chance for a double play was there. Give a chance to your highest paid hitter to hit. Always the possibility he's safe at 1st if he hits that a little bit closer to the 3rd base line.
